Our Mission Statement
Inspiring Catholic women to bloom where they are planted and create a legacy of love in their marriages. We strive to provide a safe and supportive environment, upholding the dignity of every human person.
What is Desert Blossom?
Desert Blossom is a marriage mentorship program that offers daily accompaniment and weekly/bi-weekly in-person meetings. We are women mentoring women with our core tenets of a Catholic anthropology, confidentiality, emotional safety, respect, honesty, trust, and vulnerability.
Why do we exist?
Desert Blossom exists because we are aware of the very real need in our current culture and spiritual climate to be supported by like-minded women who are standing for their marriages. The landscape for marriage in the world gets darker by the day, and we hope to stand as a beacon of light and hope in this fallen world. You are NOT alone!
Who do we serve?
Desert Blossom serves sacramentally married Catholic women, in any stage of life. Newly married all the way through empty nesters.
Our hope for newly married women is to supply them with the support and skills necessary to have a healthy, thriving marriage and potentially avoid some of the pitfalls marriages experience that can lead to resentment, discontentment, and sometimes even abuse, infidelity, separation and divorce.
Our hope for long-standing marriages is that by implementing skills and healing resources you can begin to experience marriage the way God intended and bring your marriage back from lost hope and despair.
This program is also for women whose marriages are mostly okay, but could be so much better and who'd like a support network for accountability, learning new relationship skills, and being in a community of like-minded, faithfully Catholic women.
How do we accomplish our mission?
Desert Blossom accomplishes our mission through resources, small group chats for daily accountability and accompaniment and weekly in-person meetings to build community and foster intimacy and growth.
We offer an annual retreat to rejuvenate your weary spirit with self-care and also Catholic marriage coaching to heal any areas of your mind and heart that may be holding you back from being the wife God has called you to be.
We offer access to resources and other programs that aid in the healing process and that has the potential to mend your broken marriage and bring it into the full light of Christ and His Kingdom.
We also participate in community outreach through our website, workshops and speaking engagements.
